adminThe mass car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has showcased its 5-door model, the Maruti Suzuki Jimmy at the Auto Expo 2023. Though the prices of the model have not yet been revealed but the bookings are open against an amount of INR 11,000. The interested buyers can now book the Jimmy from any Nexa showroom or the website. The 5-door SUV will be available in 2 variants – Zeta and Alpha.
In terms of powertrain, the SUV derives its power from a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual (MT) or a 4-speed torque converter generating 103bhp and 134Nm of torque. Speaking of the dimensions, the Jimmy measures 3,985mm in length, 1,645mm in width, and 1,720mm in height, with the wheelbase at 2,590mm, a ground clearance of 210mm and a boot space of 208litres which can be extended further to 332litres.
As for the exteriors, the SUV gets an extended wheelbase, circular LED headlamps with washer, 5 (Five) twin-spoke alloy wheel, honeycomb mesh 5-slot grille, fog lamps mounted in the front bumper, straight pillars and a tailgate mounted spare wheel.
On the inside, the 5-door Jimmy offers a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, circular AC vents, luggage hook screw holes, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rectangular black dashboard and much more.
As for the safety features, the SUV gets 6 (Six) airbags, ABD with EBD, a reverse camera, hill descent control, limited slip brake differential, hill hold assists, ISOFIX and side-impact door beams. Furthermore, the Jimmy five-door will be offered in 7 (Seven) different colour options – SIZZLING RED WITH BLUISH BLACK ROOF | SIZZLING RED | GRANITE GREY | NEXA BLUE | BLUISH BLACK | KINETIC YELLOW | PEARL ARCTIC WHITE.
