The German car manufacturer, Audi has commenced the bookings for the e-tron GT which is to be launched on September 22 in the Indian market. The Audi e-tron GT is the 3rd all-electric offering from Audi. Globally, the Audi e-tron GT will be available in 2 (Two) versions: standard S version and performance based RS version.
The regular version of the e-tron GT gets a 238hp electric motor at the front axle and a 435hp motor at the rear generating 475bhp against a peak torque of 630Nm. The 0-100kmph can be achieved in just 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 245kmph. On the other hand, the RS version of the e-tron GT produces 598bhp against a peak torque of 830Nm. The RS version can achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 250kmph. The e-tron GT derives its power from an 85kWh battery pack. The company claims a range of 488km for the standard version and 472km for the RS version.
The e-tron GT is a four-door coupe with a sloping roofline, wide track, low bonnet and broad shoulder line. The model also features the brand’s signature dancing LED headlamps and taillights along with animations.
Inside the cabin, the all-electric Audi e-tron GT gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, driver assistance and safety system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, climate control, dual-screen setup and much more.
The Audi e-tron GT is expected to launch with a starting price of INR 1.60 crore (Ex-showroom) and is likely to be placed above the Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace and is likely to rival the likes of the upcoming Porsche Taycan.
