The compact SUV segment is the new Talk of the town for quite a while now. As we have already discussed earlier, the carmakers have registered nearly doubled as compared to the same period last year.
So, it is not wrong to say that compact SUV segment is now a big donor to the complete sales figures every month. The automakers are paying extra attending towards the customers need and launching cars which fulfill their requirement.
The automakers including Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Mahindra and Tata Motors registered huge sale during the month of January.
5. Mahindra XUV300
The trending car of Mahindra, XUV300 has made it to the list of top-five compact SUV. The automaker has sold 4,612 units in India last month as compared to 3,360 unit sales in the same period in 2020, the automaker reported growth sales of 37 per cent in the country. The XUV300 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine option.
4. Tata Nexon
It seems like Tata Nexon has made a special place in customer’s heart, with nearly 140 per cent sales growth for the Nexon in January 2021 as compared to around 3,380 unit sales in the same period last year. The Tata Nexon is available in both petrol and diesel option and can be taken in either manual transmission or AMT option.

The car maintains its strong selling in the sub-four metre SUV segment since the launch. In January 2021, Hyundai Venue had outsold the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza by a fair margin. The carmaker registered nearly 70% sale growth.
