The Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai launched the Hyundai Creta back in 2015 and since then it has been one of the most sold cars in its segment while giving a tough competition to Kia Seltos, Jeep Compass and others. So now the car maker Hyundai has decided to update add some new features to the 2020 Hyundai Creta. Let’s have a look what the updated Hyundai Creta will offer.
Based on the revealed information, few features such as luggage lamp, passenger seat back pocket and electrically adjustable ORVMs will no longer be a part of the base trim “E” of the Hyundai Creta. The mid variants “EX” and “S” will now get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The “SX” and “SX(O)” variants of the updated Creta will now feature new voice commands, updated OTA for their infotainment systems, soft paint touch dashboard and updated remote smart key which will come along with a remote engine start in both manual and automatic variants. Hyundai has also introduced reminders and voice greetings while you start your car along with a gentle reminder in case you forget to wear your seatbelt.
In terms of powertrains and transmission options, the new updated Hyundai Creta will see no changes. Available in 5 (Five) variants: E, EX, S, SX, SX(O), the Creta continues to offer a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual (MT) gearbox, a 6-speed automatic (AT) gearbox, an IVT unit, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox option.
