Kia launched the Carnival Limousine Plus at INR 33.99 lakh

Kia launched the updated version of its MPV, the Carnival with a starting price of INR 24.95 lakh (Ex-showroom) and has now introduced a new variant, the Limousine Plus at INR 33.99 lakh (Ex-showroom) along with the brand’s new logo. Below mentioned is the price list as per different variants.

As for the exteriors, the 2021 Kia Carnival features the brand’s new logo and also gets 18-inch crystal cut alloy wheels. The top trim Limousine Plus is loaded with features like an electronic parking brake, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, 10-way adjustable and ventilated seat, 2 (Two) 10.1-inch entertainment screens at the rear, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

In addition to this, the revised version of the Kia Limousine gets a single 10.1-inch entertainment screen at the rear along with an auto dimming rear view mirror. Furthermore, the company also mentioned that leather seats will now be available in the Prestige, Limousine and Limousine Plus.

Moreover, the Limousine Plus trim continues to get LED projector headlights, power sliding doors, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, dual-pane sunroof, LED fog lamps, powered tailgate, automatic climate control and much more. On the safety front, the variant gets ISOFIX child-seat mounts, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, rear camera and rear parking sensors.

Under the hood, the Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic (AT) transmission generating 200bhp against a peak torque of 440Nm. Also, the model has an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency figure of 13.9kmpl.

Kia introduced the updated version of both its SUVs Sonet and Seltos earlier this year and also added a new top variant to its Seltos product line. As of now there are no major launches scheduled but the Korean car manufacturer is prepping to introduce an all new MPV sometime in early 2022 in the market.
