The South Korean car manufacturer, Kia has introduced the Seltos X Line model in the Indian market at a starting price of INR 17.79 lakh (Ex-showroom) and offers a 1.4-litre GDi petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine available only with automatic (AT) gearbox which is a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed AT. Below mentioned are the prices of both the Seltos X Line trims.

The X Line variant of the Seltos is the new top-spec and gets the segment first matte paint named as “Xclusive Matte Graphite” along with 18-inch alloy wheels and blacked out chrome elements. In addition to this, the company has added orange shade on the bumpers and the side molding. On the inside, the elements remains the same while the upholstery gets a blue shade called Indigo Pera and is similar to what is offered with the Tech Line trim.
Commenting on the occasion, Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director and Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer, Kia India said, “The Seltos is a breakthrough product that laid a strong foundation and marked the beginning of Kia’s journey in India. This product has been an inspiration for the entire mid-SUV segment in the country, in a true sense. With the introduction of top-of-the-line X Line trim, we want to offer an even more premium, exclusive product that will consolidate Seltos imagery leadership and premium positioning.”
The Kia Seltos goes against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier Dark Edition, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Nissan Kicks and Nissan Kicks.
