The latest car manufacturer to extend its service period and warranty for its customers is Skoda Auto India due to the ongoing situation of COVID-19 and strict restrictions being imposed across different parts of the country. A few car manufacturers who have already announced such extensions and provided a sense of relief to its customers include Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.
Skoda Auto India has extended the validity of the warranty, service plans and scheduled services up until July 31, 2021 which were to expire between the months of April and June. In addition to this, the car manufacturer also extended the validity of RSA policies till June 30, 2021 which were to expire in the month of April and May.
“Our priority at Skoda Auto India is to provide continued support to our customers during such unprecedented times. Hence, we have decided to extend our warranty, Schedule Maintenance Services and SuperCare Maintenance Plans, which were due between April and June, to July 31, 2021. We are also extending our roadside assistance policies, which would otherwise expire between April and May, until June 30, 2021″, said, Zac Hollis, Director, Skoda Auto India.
Skoda India is all set to introduce its mid-size SUV, Skoda Kushaq, in coming weeks followed by the debut of new generation Skoda Octavia and the facelifted Skoda Kodiaq later this year.
