
The production of the Tesla Model S Plaid+ stands cancelled, Elon Musk recently announced on his twitter handle. He also mentioned that there is no need for the variant Plaid+ as the Tesla Model S Plaid edition is performing at its best.
The Tesla Model S Plaid+ was the longest range of the Plaid version offering 400 miles on a single charge. The launch of the Plaid+ variant has been delayed and now the planning for the same is for sometime in mid-2022. The Tesla Model S Plaid version is one of the top performing electric sedan and the deliveries are scheduled to start from June 10, 2021.
The Tesla Model S Plaid is the fastest production car in the world and the 0-100kmph can be achieved under 2 seconds with a top speed of 322kmph. The Model S Plaid claims a range of 627km in a single charge generating 1020bhp.
The Tesla Model S is expected to debut in India eventually. Tesla did set-up its office in Bengaluru, Karnataka earlier this year and is expected to start production with the smaller Tesla Model 3 sedan which will brought via CBU route. Though there is no confirmation as of now, the price of the same is expected to be INR 50 lakh approximately.
