Volkswagen India listed the 2021 T-Roc mid-size SUV on its Indian official website for a starting price of Rs 21.35 lakh (ex-showroom). While there is no official word as to when booking will begin, Carlo.in guesses the German carmaker to make a formal announcement very soon.
The Volkswagen T-Roc was introduced in the Indian market in March last year at a price of Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and was available in a single top-spec variant and five exterior paint colors. SUVs took the CBU route to India and imports were limited to only 1,000-units. These allocated units were sold in a few months and bookings were discontinued by Volkswagen in September 2020.
Volkswagen T-Roc’s 2021 standard safety kit includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, a tire pressure monitoring system and a parking camera.
The upcoming 2021 T-Roc is likely to be purchased in India through the same course and will be offered in limited numbers.
