Kia Motors launched the much awaited Carnival MPV at Auto Expo 2020 after Seltos. The current generation Kia Carnival holds a strong image in the MPV segment and is a compelling premium alternative to Innova Crysta with more luxurious features and is affordable for all those who don’t want to spend on a Mercedes Benz V-class.
The ongoing coronavirus lockdown has delayed Mahindra’s plans of launching its BS6 lineup but sources in dealerships have revealed the BS6 prices of the updated XUV500. We expect Mahindra to launch the three-row mid-size diesel SUV in India soon after the lockdown is lifted. It gets a mild price hike of Rs 28,000 across variants. The SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 153 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 360 Nm @ 1,750-2,800 rpm. The engine is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The base W3 variant and the AWD variants are no longer offered.
