BMW 5 Series 520d M Sport variant introduced at INR 68.90 lakh

The luxury car manufacturer, BMW has introduced a new version in its luxury sedan segment, the new BMW 520d M Sport trim priced at INR 68.90 lakh (Ex-showroom) in the Indian car market. With the introduction of the new variant, the company has also discontinued its 3 (Three) other variants – the 50 Jahre M Edition, the BMW 530d M Sport and the BMW 520d Luxury Line.

Now the luxury car maker is offering only 2 (Two) variants in its 5-series segment – the BMW 530i M Sport and the BMW 520d M Sport. The new 520d M Sport now offers a 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 188bhp against a peak torque of 400Nm.

On the other side, the BMW 530i M Sport trim gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 248bhp and a peak torque of 350Nm. The price of the said variant is also increased by INR 90,000.

This year, BMW has introduced 5 (Five) new models in the Indian car market including the new luxury sedan BMW 7-series and 3-series Gran Limousine, the SUVs BMW X1 and BMW X7 and addition to its electric segment the BMW i7.
