Coronavirus found on multiple auto part packaging samples

Several auto part packaging samples have tested positive for novel Coronavirus in different parts of China, after the COVID-19 case confirmed by the company engaged in auto part sales.

According to the city’s Office of Prevention and Control of COVID-19, in Jincheng City, North China’s Shanxi Province, the local Center for Disease Control and Prevention detected the virus on auto tire packaging recently.

The office then activated an emergency response. Personnel coming into contact with the baggage have been released and all have tested negative. Related items are sealed.

Nucleic acid tests were conducted on related auto parts and workers in several cities in China after an employee of a Beijing-based organization engaged in auto part sales found COVID-19 for viruses and some auto part package positives in late December.
