Is 2021 Kia Carnival to be available in 4-seater_

Kia Motors launched the much awaited Carnival MPV at Auto Expo 2020 after Seltos. The current generation Kia Carnival holds a strong image in the MPV segment and is a compelling premium alternative to Innova Crysta with more luxurious features and is affordable for all those who don’t want to spend on a Mercedes Benz V-class.

Currently, Kia Carnival offers 7-seater, 8-seater and 9-seater variants. The next-generation Kia Carnival is expected to be on sale with a luxurious 4-seater layout and will come with 2 (two) front grille designs. One of the grilles will have a horizontal design with chrome inserts delivering an elegant look with a more premium finish. On the other side, the second grille design will be an aggressive, SUV-style grille with dual color tones.

Talking about the exterior, 2 (Two) different front bumpers are expected, each carrying a different significance set with the different grilles. This part will be featuring a faux skid plate, L-shaped fog lamp housing and A-shaped cut-out for slim lower intake. The rear bumper also showcases a faux skid plate along with sleeker light reflector housing. The new upcoming next-gen Carnival features sleeker headlamps with daytime running light flow in order to form the border of the radiator grille and has a single full-width tail-light instead of conventional separate tail-lights coming in the current model.

The Interiors of the new Kia Carnival will be much more exclusive and refined than the current generation. The new Carnival will showcase a literally merged fully digital infotainment system and the instrument cluster. The AC vents in the centre console and the dashboard now have a sleeker design and the steering wheel gets a compact look. These changes give the new Carnival a minimalist look than the current model also freeing up space inside the cabin.

As per the information, 2021 Kia Carnival will introduce a 2.2-litre diesel engine followed by 3.5-litre petrol engine options later. The new Carnival is 5,155 mm long, 1,995 mm wide and 1,740 mm tall with a 3,090 mm wheelbase.

With the current generation Kia Carnival being the best in the MPV segment, the fourth and upcoming generation of the new Carnival is expected to introduce itself on our shores by the end of 2021.

Earlier, after the unveiling of Kia Carnival MPV, the carmaker has announced that its offering has received over 1,400 bookings on the first day.
