A landmark moment in Aston Martin’s illustrious 106-year history, Aston Martin has unveiled its first SUV and a model that will propel the brand to new heights worldwide. That model, is DBX. The carmaker has already begun accepting booking in India for the SUV following it’s unveiling on November 20, 2019. The culmination of an extensive development programme that began with physical testing in Wales last year and virtual development stretching back to 2015, DBX signals a new era in Aston Martin’s pursuit to deliver exceptional performance, style and usability in a segment previously unexplored by the world-famous manufacturer. Bringing both the versatility and indulgence expected of a luxury SUV with sports car levels of dynamic performance, DBX sets a bold new standard in this sector.
Renault India increased the prices of the Triber subcompact 7-seater MPV. While the entry-level RXE variant is going to be sold at Rs 4.96 lakh, and the RXL, RXT and RXZ trims will now be available for a price of Rs 5.59 lakh, Rs 6.09 lakh and Rs 6.63 lakh respectively. Earlier, the RXL and RXT trims of the Triber were offered at Rs 5.49 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh respectively. It is the second time since the launch that the fully-loaded Renault Triber RXZ variant has gotten a price hike. The carmaker introduced larger 15-inch steel wheels to the RXZ trim and increased its price by Rs 4,250.
As reported by us earlier, Morris Garages (MG) India is likely to unveil the much-awaited MG ZS electric SUV on December 5 at an event in New Delhi. The reports are now coming in that MG Motor India has commenced pre-bookings for its upcoming ZS electric SUV at Rs 50,000 in India. The eZS will be the second product by MG Motor after Hector. The British marque has hitherto made an investment of Rs 2,200 crores at its plant and has installed an all-new assembly line, a press shop, a body shop, a parts distribution center, a testing track and a new state-of-the-art training facility in the plant. In order to increase its footprint, the plant by MG has set up a captive vendor park.
In a wake to reduce road accidents, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has been making concerted efforts towards improvement of road safety through engineering measures on National Highways. There are many reasons for accidents on the National Highways, i.e., Weather condition, Animal Crossing, Defect in Mechanical condition of Motor Vehicle, Physical fatigue of Drivers, Driving under influence of drug/alcohol, Over speeding Dangerous driving, Over-taking and Careless/Rash driving etc.
