Mercedes-Benz India proudly announced a satisfactory sale during the Navratri and Dussehra. The automaker has successfully delivered over 550 cars to customers across India. The majority of deliveries took place in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Gujarat and other Northern markets.
In the National Capital, Mercedes-Benz has sold over 175 new cars in just few days. The carmaker has earlier noted a sequential growth in its monthly sales in Q3 2020, amidst the ongoing sale decline in the automobile sector due to the COVID pandemic.
The Managing Director & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, Martin Schwenk said that the festive season 2020 has started with a positive note and they are glad to witness customer’s response and trust.
He added that the striking number of deliveries makes the carmaker more confident of a good festive season and firmly underlines the trust and confidence that luxury car buyers have on Mercedes-Benz brand and products.
Mercedes-Benz’s brand campaign ‘Unlock Celebrations’ has been instrumental in creating an encouraging customer response. The carmaker is receiving huge demand for the C-Class, E-Class sedans and the GLC, GLE and GLS SUVs.
Earlier, Mercedes-Benz announced its plan to locally produce AMG models, and the first model to roll out of the company’s assembly line at the company Chakan plant will be the AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe. The much-awaited coupe SUV will be launched on November 3, 2020.
