The Czech car manufacturer, Skoda stated that the recently launched mid-size SUV, the Kushaq has crossed 10,000 bookings post its launch in the Indian market. In addition to this, the company also mentioned that the both the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre automatic (AT) STYLE trims of the Kushaq will now be equipped with 6 (Six) airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system which will effectively increase the price of the variants by INR 40,000.
Zac Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said, “Despite unprecedented pressures caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the supply challenges, we are delighted to announce that we have crossed the 10,000 bookings milestone for the Skoda Kushaq. The model was made keeping in mind what matters most to customers, and it is a matter of pride for us that the car is finding its way to many Indian homes.”

The Czech car maker launched the mid-size SUV earlier in June this year with a starting price of INR 10.50 lakh (Ex-showroom).
