Tata Gravitas is all set to unveil on 26 January 2021. The upcoming Gravitas SUV shares its specifications with the five-seat Harrier and will be at the top of the Tata SUV range.
In terms of price, the Gravitas is also likely to overlap with smaller SUVs such as the over-new Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. First shown as the Tata Buzzard at the Geneva Motor Show, the production version of the Gravitas is priced at around Rs 1 lakh more than the Harrier, variant-to-variant. Gravitas prices are likely to start from nearly Rs 15 lakh, ex-showroom.
While the Gravits will share their mechanicals with the Harrier, and in most feature-sets, the SUV will get a new top-hat with a longer roofline. The extended roof is to ventilate the extra row of seats. Gravitas will get three rows of seats, with captain seats for the first and second rows. The SUV is for large families, and also for those who want something more muscular than the Toyota Innova Crystas of the world.
