Tata Harrier bookings cross 10,000 units. What will Hyundai Creta do now?

Tata Motors is seeing exponential growth in its cars these days and its mostly down to the newest offering of Tata, i.e. Tata Harrier. One of the most anticipated SUV’s in India, Tata Harrier has already seen the surge for it get an all-time high. It has already gained over 10,000 bookings since it opened its bookings in mid-October. Tata Harrier is one of the new cars in India.

Tata Harrier launched back in January 2019 is the current premium SUV of Tata and is based on the OMEGA platform derived from Land Rover’s D8 Discovery Platform. Tata Harrier has created a buzz in the market something not seen from long. It has also staked the claims of Tata towards becoming one of the top Indian automobile companies in India.  Buy new car

Here’s what Tata Motors Managing Director Guenter Butschek had to say when asked about Tata Harrier’s overwhelming response.

“We have more than 10,000 pending orders, which is extremely strong. Could we have done better, sure? I would have loved to. From my own expectations of delivering exceptional quality, we did not meet expectations, but we were good so far and improving every day.”

Tata has taken new roads into staking its claim in the Indian market. Their Tiago range is doing great and the likes of Nexon, the compact SUV is also taking in good momentum. This exponential growth puts a question mark on the rivals of Tata Harrier operating in the Indian market. What will the likes of Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500 do now? It’s going to be a battle worth watching.
