The Japanese car maker, Toyota has released the first teaser of its upcoming MPV model the Toyota Innova Hycross. Ready to make its global debut in Indonesia next month, the upcoming MPV will offer hybrid powertrain along with refreshed exteriors.
On the outside, the new Innova Hycross will get a large hexagonal grille with sleeker headlamps offering LED units with integrated daytime running LEDs. Moreover, there will be crease lines on the bonnet and the front bumper will offer redesigned fog lamps casing.
The attractive point of the new Innova Hycross is the new powertrain. It is expected that the new MPV will offer a new 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid engine mated to an e-CVT transmission. In addition to this, the new MPV will also get monocoque architecture and a front-wheel-drive configuration. As for the features, the new Innova Hycross is expected to be loaded with the latest and modern features which includes a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a 360-degree camera.
The car maker has already started testing the Innova Hycross in the country and when launched, the new MPV will rival the likes of the Kia Carens and the Mahindra Marazzo.
