The Japanese car maker has unveiled the new Toyota Innova Zenix in Indonesia today which will be followed by its debut in the Indian market in the coming days. For the Indian car market, it will be known as the Toyota Innova Hycross.
The new model will offer a monocoque chassis with a FWD layout and will be available in 5 (Five) different colour options – PLATINUM WHITE PEARL | GRAY METALLIC | DK STEEL MC | SILVER METALLIC | ATTITUDE BLACK. As for the dimensions, the new model measures 4,755mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,795mm in height with a ground clearance of 185mm.
On the outside, the new Innova Zenix (Hycross) gets a completely new look along with a new grille with a chrome surround, triangular inserts with LED DRLs on either side of the front bumper, fog lights on both sides with a sleek air dam, 18-inch alloy wheels, sweptback LED headlamps, wraparound LED taillights, dual-tone ORVMs and an integrated spoiler.
Speaking of the interiors, the new Toyota Innova Zenix (Hycross) will offer a panoramic sunroof, a 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 10-inch screens for the second-row seaters, cruise control, a new instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, silver trims on the dashboard, dual-tone black and brown theme and much more.
In terms of powertrain, the new Innova Zenix (Hycross) will offer a 2.0-litre petrol mill generating 150bhp and 187Nm of torque along with a hybrid motor where the latter will produce 111bhp against a peak torque of 206Nm. The Indonesian specification car will only offer a CVT transmission.
