
Petrol and diesel prices in the country reached new highs on Tuesday as the rates were hiked after a gap of three days. As per price information from state-owned fuel retailers, prices of petrol and diesel were increased by 35 paise per litre each.
This increase led to petrol prices of Rs 87.30 per liter in the National Capital and Rs 93.83 per liter in Mumbai. However, Diesel rates in Delhi and Mumbai rose to Rs 77.48 per liter and higher to Rs 84.36 in Mumbai.
The surge took petrol prices to new high of Rs 87.30 a litre in Delhi and to Rs 93.83 in Mumbai. Diesel rates rose to Rs 77.48 per litre in the national capital and to an all-time high of Rs 84.36 in Mumbai. On February 5, the prices were increased by 30 paise.
